Government officials need roads too!

By Moses Darah
The Success Ovie Ossai’s slogan of “Even a professor needs a skill” comes to mind as the agitation to draw Government’s attention to the deplorable condition of roads in Abraka gathers momentum.
Majority of the government officials do not ply any other special route within Delta State. The kidnappers ambush both the poor and rich on the bad spots.
At this moment, everyone should be concerned on the selfless movement of ‘ABRAKA NEEDS ROADS’, show support and stop antagonizing the actors.
In a sane society, the elites should lead the protests for urgent attention on the roads with the caption, ‘the politicians need roads too’.
